General Overview

Power Network Tycoon is a power grid simulation and strategy game. Players build and run high-voltage power networks by placing generators, running power lines, managing loads, and expanding their grid to keep up with a growing island community. Along the way you'll research upgrades, deal with environmental hazards, and balance cost against reliability.

The game offers a realistic glimpse into the power industry, featuring physics-based simulations that capture the complexities of power network management (a topic often oversimplified in other city builders). Tools like Ground Potential Rise (GPR) and the Electromagnetic Field (EMF) meter introduce real-world engineering challenges, adding depth and authenticity to the experience.

Start small by placing power generators, substations, and power lines, then expand into a massive energy powerhouse with an interconnected grid. However, greater demand brings resource constraints, safety risks, and exposure to natural disasters. Invest wisely in research, upgrades, and safety measures to ensure a stable and efficient power supply.
