Patch v1.0.003
Its been a big month since launching with over 10,000 wishlists to V1.0 of Power Network Tycoon. We've now been verified to run on Steam Deck and Steam Machine as well as PC, Mac and Linux, there has never been more ways to learn how power grids work!
Importantly, this update also includes a much requested new button on the Play Menu where players can unlock any game content they want. This includes playing Creative mode, all the renewables, biomes, a fun (and usually hidden until unlocked at the end of the game) gameplay mode and much more. So if you never got far through the game in the past but wanted to try more of it's features, this is your chance.
This update features the following changes:
- Steam Deck and Steam Machine verified!
- Small tweaks for Steam Deck and Gamepad usage
- Tutorial voices slightly louder (matching other in-game voices)
- Added 'Force Unlock Content' button to allow players to play how they want. Players (via the Play Main Menu) can choose to unlock content and features usually unlocked through normal gameplay. This includes all tools, all renewables, all biomes/maps, all gameplay modes (creative and hardcore) as well as a secret endgame gameplay mode (spoilers). Players can use these renewables, tools etc to still play the Missions Mode as normal to progress through the game (likely at a faster pace) to reveal the various endgame objectives, so not all is spoiled.
