Patch v1.0.001 - This update features the following changes:

  • Fix to capacitor banks reactive power contribution after loading a saved game
  • Removed lower graphics settings shadow/sun movement simplification (in steps rather than smooth), so always smooth shadow movement
  • Fix to bug prevent saving of earthing/ground configuration of Energy Hub Substation and Nuclear Connector.
  • Pausing in-game no longer mutes ambience (birds/rain etc), instead just reduces volume to 50%.
  • Floating text to show a penalty now will show for up to 5x the camera distance away from a load, as those are more important text to be aware of
  • Added useful hint "Pole upgrade required" or "Power Generator upgrade required" text if trying to attach more conductors than allowed rather than just saying no free connection points.
  • Added popup for new players to use the Upgrade button after their research is complete
  • Oil costs may be lower if player is very low on funds and not playing hard mode
  • Oil wells last twice as long
  • On screen floating text last slightly longer
  • Localization improvements
  • Text showing when placing Capacitor Bank now more clearly shows the Lagging vs Leading loads to find where is best to place the Capacitor Bank
